Toke Makinwa is pregnant. The podcaster and former radio presenter announced the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, 13 August 2025. “The biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever,” she wrote in the post.
“You did this one, you have completely changed my life. You opened this door that nobody can shut. I hope I never get over what you鈥檝e done for me. You stirred the waters and put me in yourself. This testimony, the timing鈥. You make all things beautiful in your time, and this is just perfect.”
What is the sex of the baby?
While Toke described her baby as “my bug” in the Instagram post, she did not specifically say what the sex of her baby is. But she couldn’t “wait to meet you.”
“My bug, I cannot wait to meet you, you鈥檝e made me the happiest person on earth baby, thank you.
Thank you for choosing me to come through life to be the greatest reflection of God鈥檚 grace.
The answer to my prayers, this whole journey has given me life, you鈥檝e blessed me already,” she wrote.
When is the baby coming?
Toke didn’t share when the baby is coming, but she did say that being a mother trumps everything she has ever worn before.
“I鈥檝e worn so many hats over the years but this one trumps it all and I鈥檓 so humbled to have been chosen. You guys have been with me from the start, the girl you met on radio, the brand you鈥檝e supported all these years, this victory is major. You get to see me as a Mother, I get to raise my own,” she said.
